![]() ![]() The overall design is modern and actually reminds me of some high-end Western brands too. Since my first review of this, it seems that they’ve updated the unit carton from a clear plastic box to this elegant cardboard design – which I much prefer! This new box is made of a nice quality board with a matte cello finish and some spot UV (glossy) accents. It also claims to clarify pores and help rebalance oils.įor instructions on how to use this product (and some first time thoughts on the learning curve), check out my original Patting Splash Mask review too! According to the product description, this is formulated with green tea extract, salicylic acid and tea tree leaf oil, working to soothe and calm skin. This Soothing & Healing Green Tea version is actually formulated for irritated and acne prone skin though! It’s a lot gentler but still gives some beautiful results. However, it didn’t recommend it for sensitive skin as I found the formula very strong (it actually causes the dead skin on my hands to peel). ![]() I have used the Energy Citrus & Honey variant in the past, which I loved and rated highly. Essentially an in-shower treatment, it is a highly concentrated liquid mask that removes fine dust and dead skin cells in just fifteen seconds – and without irritation too. This Patting Splash Mask is a Blithe innovation – they’re the first ever to do it! It is inspired by “the Korean bathhouse tradition of splashing botanical steeped water onto the face after cleansing to tone and brighten skin”. Patting Splash Mask (Soothing & Healing Green Tea) | USD$29 Their products tend to be more expensive for a kbeauty product (prices start at around USD$25 for an eight pack of Blue Zone Sheet Masks and go up to USD$45 for the Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum), but also have a really good reputation to justify it! Overall, the brand is really about protecting skin from environmental and lifestyle stressors, which I personally think is really important in this day and age. To supplement this, they also have their Inbetween line (consisting of the Inbetween Makeup Prep Essence, Hydro Priming Cream and Instant Glowing Cream) which is intended to both protect and prep skin for make up. This involves their Patting Splash Mask (which is the first of its kind and absolutely unique to Blithe), their Recovery Vital Treatment and also the Pressed Serum, which is a blend of serum and a face cream. In addition to that, they work with a concept that they call ‘Anti-Polluaging’ -believing that stress and harmful environment factors (pollution, dust, heavy metals) are causing skin to sensitise and age prematurely.Īll of these factors come together in the brand’s three step skincare routine – purification, recover and recharge. ![]() They aim to create innovative products that are multi-purpose with fast effects, being suitable for people with busy lifestyles – which is me, usually. ![]() If you’d like to pick up any of these, or check out the Blithe line in general, head on over to the StyleKorean website – they’ve got an extensive range! Otherwise, let’s just right into this!īlithe is a brand that formulates with a modern, urban lifestyle in mind. All of these are actually new to me (though I have used a different Splash mask before) so I think that I’ll need much more extensive testing to write a full review! However, I do want to share my initial thoughts and observations. This is the Blithe Try Me Review Me box and features four of their most popular (and unique) products: there is the Patting Splash Mask in Soothing & Healing Green Tea, Pressed Serum in Tundra Chaga, Inbetween Makeup Prep Essence and the Vital Treatment 8 Nourishing Beans. If you’d like to join in next time, make sure to follow their Instagram because that’s where it all gets announced! For now though, let’s chat about what’s in this box. The products in this brand spotlight/review post were sent to me by StyleKorean as part of their Try Me Review Me program – this is a monthly open collaboration where they select a generous handful of beauty content creators to test out specifically curated beauty boxes. It’s been a hot minute since I tried something new from Blithe, but I had such a great experience with their Energy Citrus and Honey Patting Splash Mask that when the opportunity came up – I had to take it. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. ![]()
